Hi all, I felt I needed another Alfa Romeo in my life (I’m sure everybody can relate to this), so after months of searching I have just bought another small Alfa hatchback.

It’s a 1995 145 1.6 Boxer in bottle green & green cloth interior. It’s a basic spec model, with no ABS or central locking. Registered in Edinburgh and with its first owner for 20 years.

I bought it as it’s only in 18500 miles with documented history & lots of paperwork.

There are a number of jobs to do, including a full respray at some point but I’m looking forward to restoring this little time capsule.

The boxer engined 145 joins my 147 GTA… two extremes. Basic & poverty spec (only metallic paint was added) vs the fully loaded 147.

Hey Leighlo!

welcome aboard! Did you say 18k?? coolio.gif

that's incredible!

I'm in Edinburgh; I wonder if I ever came close to it.

you say 'poverty spec' but in reality it would have always been a special car.

How exciting!

Can you post some pictures of it..?

Yeah it’s a pretty unique colour with a pretty unique engine these days.

Had 4x new Pirelli tyres fitted today - the rear drivers side was probably on its original as it was a P3000 which I don’t think they’ve made for at least 15 years?

Great news on the tyres-

I have a car that doesn’t see much sun; and I’ve been overdue tyres for twenty years!
