We make SOTW look rich smile.gif so come one....how much did you pay for your car....how many miles did it have....in what year and any special features?
I bought a lovely Burgundy 145 with 66,000 on the clock, full momo interior, over £1k spent on it on last bill for......£133 in 2009/2010....it did have a f**ked piston ring and no mot or tax.
Otherwise my other 145 was a £450 jobbie, with full re-spray, 77k on the clock and fully working (but no MOT). This was in 2008....which was a BARGAIN!

I paid £800 for my 145 in 2006 with 80k on the clock. It is a Cloverleaf and so I didn't mind paying that for the flagship model. If you can afford it do it!

£700 two years ago - had 6 months MOT left @ 97k, full main dealer history + plus every single invoice, including things like key fob batteries from the dealer! I reckon I spent about £1000 on it so far (soon to be more after the bumper respray). No idea whether or not it's worth what I've paid into it so far, but I don't think any of us are in it for the money!

My P reg Cloverleaf (which fingers crossed is getting MOTd this week!!) cost £300 in December '18 with 110k from a Gumtree ad. Has had probably 5 times that spent on it in parts (no labour to pay though - mechanic in the family!) with still more needing spending on aircon regassing, paintwork and undersealing. And whatever part is causing the rough idle - probably lambda sensor.
But it is nicely kitted out, metallic plum (exclusive colour on the QV) with sunroof and passenger airbag.

I paid £500 (odd- Jeremy?)
and it's cost £3500/ £4000 so far.
Still looks like it's worth £500 though!

Yeah, that's in the right ballpark.
My 145 was £250!
(But it had been parked in a shed for 8 years)
