i was recommended JOM springs yesterday by Mr AforAlfa, pparently you ucan get a 40mm drop for front and 30 for rear giving t a nice 'nose down' stance, which given the crease line on the waist would look pretty crackin on a 145.

Anyone used JOM before? Or will I be another guinea pig again???? biggrin.gif (price is also comparable with 'other known brands' )

Im using 35mm Apex springs on my 145 boxer and would highly recommend them

excellent ride (not far off oem) and 12months on still looking like new

Who has used what coilovers on the 145? I currently have a Koni yellow shock kit with matched springs which is ok but compared what im used too its marginal at best. The issues I have are the high speed damper control and the fact it has way too much reverse rake. On my old cooper S I had JIC Magic competition coilovers which are similar to KW two way race coilovers, I loved they handed the damper control was mind bending. Anyone know of anything similar for the 145? At this rate I might end up having KW build something for me.

What version? I tested the ones for the MINI and they were that awful the stock suspension which is also pretty awful was like driving on silk.

These! We'll have to see what they handle like fully wound down.
Should have them in by the end of Jan.

They look like the Konig sport version that use a Koni shock that Ive heard better things about.

Only just seen this 2011 thread.

FK website: http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/Suspensio...146-inc-QV.html

I know it's a newb type question but if order these springs do you get all 4, 2 or 1? None of the websites actually indicate. I would presume all four...? Merry Xmas!
