cant quite tell from the picture but does the throttle bosy have the ecu on it?

It's an alloy inlet manifold from a Phase 1 TS engine, therefore the ECU will have been inside the car and not on top of the throttle body housing.

never looked that hard at the inlet on mine to know it wasnt alloy, not needed to yet touch wood.

This is the manifold on a Phase 2 TS...it's black and made plastic. It's also a variable length inlet manifold (the alloy manifolds on the Phase 1 TS are not variable length)...
