Well, after a good night's sleep I've now uploaded my 'ring pics onto Fotopic. They're all on, barring the really blurry ones that I've deleted, so click on the link below. I think rather than blab on about it, I'll leave everyone to check out my pics, plus Rob's, Dave's and Tony's coolio.gif

They're all at a manageable 800x600, but if anyone wants any at the original 1600x1200 ones emailing, just PM me smile.gif .

Well, another fantastic 'ring trip, seriously enjoyable, despite the weather! I did 4 laps in my own car, in the pouring rain pappap.gif 2 solo, one with Hazey and one with Rob. Fantastic fun, even at slower speeds!

I also did some great passenger laps with Hazey & Alisa, Daavee and on the Sunday, I blagged a ride with a guy in a UK Integrale Evo coolio.gif - pic below. It was bone dry, quick and great fun!

Sadly there was a fatality on the Saturday. The track closed for the best part of a couple of hours. Apparently a biker came off and whilst lying unconcious on the track, he was hit by a passing car. sad.gif

Was great meeting everyone, roll on next time....!

Half the Scottish Section of the owners club went to the Nurburgring last year and it was fantastic.

Aye, same here... have a couple of weeks off in September and will probably go back then, cash permitting.

My brother and I are planning to go 30/09 - 03/10. Nothing booked yet, but pencilled in the diary.

The problem you will have if you are going in September is that the opening times are just rubbish. There are only a couple of full day sessions, and many days when it's not open at all. Not worth travelling all that way for such limited track time IMO.

I'll be travelling over on Saturday 30th Sept then have the full day Sunday, half day Monday and full day Tuesday smile.gif

Be fun to meet up with some fellow Alfisti while there wink.gif

Yeah I was wondering who else would notice the crap opening times for August-October!!! sad.gif Agree, no point in going for a 'weekend', when it's only open for a couple of hours...........sure aint gonna be any 4 consecutive full days like the May trip!

Your dates sound good Joel....
