Hello and welcome to the forum.
I think the gearbox from the 1.6 has different ratios for the first few gears and that should help in getting you away quicker.
I can’t remember where i saw the numbers ... anyone help?
200 bhp sounds nice. I would be interested in how you have tuned the engine.

Hello Irakli,

I have been doing the research also, 1.6 box has lower first and fifth, What you are looking for is the final drive from a 1.4(3.866), if you find one i need one as well.
Here is the ratio data, http://www.alfa145.co.uk/specs.html

Cheers Steve

here is the latest hot lap on track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAJgE522Fv0.
this lap time is very good for car with no sport suspension for time attack 1-2 place need time like 2.00

alfa gearboxes 1.4 1.6 1.8 useless better otpion is final drive pari 4.3 which is not cheap
https://racingfuel.es/final-drive-ratio-alf...eel-final-drive

engine is equipped with performance camshafts +4mm!
forged connecting rods
ported engine head
no air sensore
4 bar fuel valve for better pressure
racing fuel tank
fuel pump for big engines
lightweight flywheel
clutch ceramic
new exhaust system custom build
just replaced radiator with racing mazda radiator better results in engine cooling

in our country good ecu specialists can tune ecu to otpimize fuel and air managmant and it will give about 10 hp, this will be next step.
also i have formula alfa ecu which is about +20 hp but connectors ar different need to change all electricity from newer versions of 145-146

first and second gear is normal third and fourth and fifth seems like never ends smile.gif) , on track i have never used fifth gear.
still no suspension street springs which are shortened and original suspension just hardened

if you have information how to improve suspension breaking gears or someone have parts and can sell to me i will be happy
