apparently.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1996-ALFA-ROMEO-155-...=item45f8815f97

I did email the seller to ask if he had any pictures of this 'One of a kind' DTM replica.

He replied: Do you have too much spare time on your hands?
It's styled on the alfa Tarquini
drove, Fyi.

Yeah, course it is fella. That's why you're going to have to keep on relisting it. As it's a crock of s*ite.

I was thinking more along the lines of this, Pat's utterly fantabulous dtm rather than a 155 2.0l with a few stickers.......

Pats:

and the REAL DEAL (Goodwood FOS last yr)

This pic just shows what a truly amazing job Ze Crazy German is doing with his!!! ALL HAIL GROPIOUS!!!! worshippy.gif

Well it would help if he could actually write a proper listing with a normal size font and some decent formatting and then maybe people would actually spend time reading it. With the drivel written there (what I could actually be bothered to read before I got bored) and a 72 size font or whatever humungus setting he's used he isn't going to get a very big audience.

"Supercar" Brilliant. I'd be tempted to watch, maybe even have a bid. I'm not shy, but I really don't know if I can handle all that power.

Keep left unless overtaking - Use mirrors and signals when changing lanes - Keep within the white lines - Don't tailgate

Its not exactly f**king rocket science is it?

If you cut a horse in half, then bang the two halves together, you get exactly the same noise as someone riding a coconut!

Email him asking which DTM car it is a replica of laugh.gif

His response

QUOTE
The graphics are in the style of the 155 VI T6 DTM which claimed the 1993 DTM championship at the hands of Nicola Larini with the exception of the bonnet as I could not attain the correct decals to I used my own styling to finish where decals were unavailable.
please note that THIS IS NOT A REAL VI T6...lol.
chassis etc has not been modified although it is pretty low. I must also stress the one side and the bonnet are a different shade the camera does not pick this up.

I the replied with a picture of Pats beast stating this is what i would consider a replica, not a 155 with stickers laugh.gif

at least its a graphic that is inkeeping with Alfa Romeo's racing history and not 'ALPINE' or something similar laugh.gif

but it is kinda false advertising.
