sad.gif Hi All
I currently have an ALFA 146 Ti sitting in my driveway not going anywhere fast. I was wondering if anybody out there can help.
Heres the problem, the engine will not start on the key but if I push it it starts. I have had the car into a ALFA dealer , who said the problem was the key, and a local garage , who I have to say has been very paitent. They have changed the ECU due to the immobliser circuit being faulty, the car went for over a year after this with no problems then after a service the problem came back again. This time they cahnged out the relays inside the engine bay(beside the battery), checked all the wiring, sent the ECU to be checked for faults and changed the battery. The car then started for 2 weeks when I got up one morning decided the car needed a good rip when turned the key and no joy.
I have driven ALFAs for the past 7 years and I am on the verge of switching to a different car maker unless someone can tell me for sure what exactly is the fix for this problem.
