I'm on a troubleshooting with the doors control unit, when trying to lock / release with the key, it is not work. I removed N11 relay, I connected direct M1-M2 with + - and works fine.
So, I suppose that N11 is the problem, but I'm tring to check it before to buy.
I was reading and found that I've to check that N11 receive an earth signal on pin 2 and 3, from 2 to 3 and viceversa... I can't understand that, how I can check it with tester...
I'd like to know how I test N11 or how check signal earth from the doors to N11.

Thanks

Hey Dani-

You are alomg the right track, already.

What happens is the door locks P10 & P11 recieve a ground connection through (their) Pin 5.

On LOCK, continuity is broken between Pins 5 & 3 and made between Pins 5 & 4, at the lock.

On UNLOCK, continuity is broken between Pins 5 & 4 and made between Pins 5 & 3.

Lock command should be a ground at Pin 3 on Relay N11 (light blue). N11 should also received that from remote control receiver N67.
Unlock is the same with the ground at Pin 2 on Relay N11 (white). There is also a link from the N67 receiver.

Sitting in the car, with the doors shut, you want to try to ground these pins (2 & 3) alternately, on the control relay N11.

If the doors bounce unlocked again, either you have a sticky lock that is resisting the mechanical action of locking, and conversely showing an unlock signal to N11, or you have a wiring issue that is shorted to unlock.

Alternatively-
Make sure both doors are unlocked, and you should see a continuity between vehicle chassis, and pin 2 at N11.

Are you with me?

Well, Thanks in advance, I did some test with this results:

With both doors unlocked I have a continuity between vehicle chassis and pin 2 at N11
Sitting in the car, with the doors shut, plug on N11 and first I see ground at pin 2 & 3, then try to ground pin 2 & 3 alternately and nothing happened.

That is all I could test

hi Dani,

Sorry; I'm away from home now, and don't have the schematics with me, so let me try and fluff this out from memory.

If you are in the car, with the doors unlocked and you have ground to Pin 2 at the relay, that is correct.

I am unable to explain how you have a ground at Pin 3?

Two things sound apparent from what you have said, as a 'literal' interpretation.

Firstly, from what you have said; either (one or both of) your locks have both got a major fault on the microswitch, or there is a wiring fault.
Also, it sounds as if N11 does not have power.

However, I wouldn't think the locks themselves could generate a ground connection to both & unlock lines simultaneously, so something else must be going on.
Are you able to establish the fuse position for N11, and check it has power..?

I am sorry I cannot be of more use at this point...

Dante!

The N11 receive power OK, I connected N11 with fusebox trought a cable, only connected positive, earth and M1 & M2, send alternatively earth at pin 2 & 3 and the doors lock and unlock.
So, I think that I do check inside the doors...

Hey Dani-

Well done; good diagnosis so far.

That proves control-functionality and lock-functionality.

Just the wiring left...
