Must be a respray??? I don't think I've ever seen a white Coupe!

yeah and a s**t job at the respray all inside door arches are still green

well stripped everything out on sunday and body went to scrap yesterday so starting to sort out what i need and what to sell so will hopefully get some pics up soon of the progress.

Next on the list is recondition front subframe,new bushes,new arms,clean and paint,new steering rack boots as are in bad condition............so the works starts..

well its been hectic the last couple of weeks with having to scrap the coop, strip all the parts, clean paint and prepare and the finally get my car broken to start the transfer.

As per the pics ive now stripped my 145 COMPLETELY blink.gif things ive done sofar

1: Strip and paint front subframe
2: Strip and paint rear subframe
3: Replace rear subframe bushes with nice new poly bushes
4: Strip and rebuild steering rack with new seals, new boots, and track rod ends and fully painted up
5: Strip all brake and fuel lines as will be replacing the whole lot
6: Strip, wire bush and remove all old underseal
7: Rust paint whole underside of car
8: Complete underseal of underbody
9: Build up front subframe with new arms, poly bushes for arb and droplinks
10: Cleaned stripped fuel tank
11; Modified fuel pump and fitted uprated walbro coop fuel pump
12: Undersealed all wheel arches
13: Fitted my towbar FINALLY coolio.gif
14: Cleaned and tidied up engine bay awaiting new heatshield firewall padding
15: Clean, strip, underseal and paint gearlink tunnel and heat shields

so all is going well so far hopefully get the new trailing arm bushes in the week then can start building up the rear end with new bearings, reconditioned calipers, disks etc......

here are some photos so far the moment i take some more ill post them up

Coming along perfectly fella! Make sure you try and keep the wiring as simple and short as possible, I will became a real pain in the a**e once the engine is in.

once the underneath, rear and front suspension is build up completely then im going to do the wiring hopefully wont have to many issues then the engine in amd home stretch

well after some long weeks and loads of graft Im finally starting to see the results in my project

Decided to go for the stealth look in the car, had to buy new rims as my didnt fit over the calipers and went for a full suede interior to get rid of the poxy grey panels that look so old

Here are some photos of the progress sofar

Enjoy























Many more to come plus had a bit of a hiccup with the engine but all sorted so will hopefully be going in in the next week or two

no keeping it full road legal but modifying the interior to fit the coupe leather seats and no rollbar only a brace in the front engine bay and rear in boot
