On the weekend I've tried with no success to remove the oil pump in my 145. I have to change it because of low oil pressure in all the range.
The oil pressure is not ultra low, but as I have an external oil pressure on the dashboard I've noticed that in three months the oil went from 22 psi idle to 14 psi idle and it worries me that it became lower than that.
So, went for it and all went fine until the crankcase pulley removal. The bolt is so tight I couldn't undo it no matter how much force I applied. With a breaker bar and an extension to gain more leverage still couldn't do it.
Do you have some tips to tell me to help me undo this goddamn bolt? The car is not rusted and all the other parts and quite fine. I have read that the bolt is torqued down to 38 kgm so I know I will need to apply a lot of force to break in.
I had to buy an electric impact wrench...
A cheap one like this:
You could probably find one from amazon....get one that has some proper power (300nm min I'd say).
But before you do that, spray some lubricating oil on the bolt.
There are lots of videos online of how to remove a pulley bolt, it is a common problem on hondas, so just look for "harmonic balance bolt removal" or something along those lines.
2 ways I have done it in the past, socket on with a 12” extension, 24” breaker bar with a piece of scaffold pole over it, put an axle stand under the 12” extension to support it.
The other way is socket and breaker bar on, work out the rotation and wedge the breaker bar on the ground, loosen spark plugs and turn the engine over

How recently did you fit your oil-gauge?
Are you sure it's not leaking?
I see 'about' 4 bar on mine, regardless of hot or cold or idle or motorway- there IS a difference between these scenarios, but it's pretty much middle of the gauge. (I'm sorry; you'll have to do the conversion from bar to PSI- I've got Alfa 155 gauge scales)
When I was doing the install and didn't have hydraulic tightness; the gauge would register less...
Thank you for all your tips, I will try again in a few weeks with an impact tool. Just in case I'm ordering a bew bolt and the special washer. I'm leaving for vacations next week so no more work on the car until I came back.
About my gauge is an AEM X Series (the digital one) installled about 3 years by myself. I have rechecked every connection and changed it to another car and it's working flawlessly so that is the current pressure at idle.
It's funny because I've been seeing it for the past 3 years and it always showed around 22 psi on idle, maybe 19/20 if I pushed too hard, but now just on idling on normal temperature is about 13/14 and it keeps my crazy.
I will post the results as soon as I change the oil pump (if I can) in about 3-4 weeks.
