I don’t think so...
Put my car up for sale, 146ti, plenty of mot and a good 12 months on the belts, drives great.
When it went to wakefield for the never happened V6 conversion it was a long time before I got it back, in that time the body got battered and bruised.
I had BBOB issues a few weeks ago which I sorted, not before jumping in and out of the car many times I stupidly moved the seat with ignition on, I know...
Anyway it’s a rare car in a rare colour that drives brilliantly, taking into account the above I priced it at £450, a bargain I thought, best offer so far is £300 and apparently they are doing me a favour.

Where are you advertising this, Wayne?

There were two in this colour on eBay; one dissapeared; and the other is still up, for £2k!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alfa-Romeo-146-T...EUAAOSw-uhd9J3o

I had no idea you wanted so little for it...🤔 (At £450)

Price looks reasonable, but people will always be looking to chip away at your starting offer. Perhaps you might have more luck advertising it somewhere more Alfa-centric as a running project?
Best of luck with it.

a deposit is great! Make sure you point the buyer towards the forum!

Cracked 'in a frost'- are you serious?
Is it like the tundra, in Merseyside where you are, Wayne??

Center of Liverpool, I suspect that there was a tiny chip at the bottom edge of the screen, hidden under the panels that cover the wipers, the car has been parked for a while and just driven up and down the street, nothing has hit the screen.
All I can think of is a combination of the chip and frost.
Shame that the day after receiving the deposit we went into lockdown.
I will look after the car here until he can collect it, and yes I will point him here.

yes;

that's beyond 'ironic' that's for sure.

I'm a bit fuzzy on the rest of your stable; are you still an owner, beyond this car? You've got the 145, haven't you?

Windscreen on my 155 cracked from bottom to top due to the front being on axle stands...
No 145, I have a skinny 8v 155 and daily 1997 V70 5 pot and a 1983 Yamaha 900.
Wife is treating me for a BIG birthday next year, the treat will be in the form of a car, maybe a nice 145, not sure yet.
I intend to stick around either way, we need the people and just maybe I can offer help and advice whistle.gif

I wouldn’t thank me to much lads, I one did a full nut and bolt restoration on an old Yamaha 400, finally it was finished, I stepped back to admire my creation...
Tripped over the clutch.

Well I’ll tell you, I fell backwards, there was swearing, then laughter then refit the clutch.
What happened after that is beyond belief and still hurts me deeply.
.
We lived in a 3 story townhouse at the time, garage at the bottom which you entered from the back.
From my garage door to the opposite sides doors was approx 30 meters, so plenty of space.
I wheeled the now glorious bike out into daylight for the first time in 14 months, she sat maybe 6’ from my door, I went back into the garage, I had noticed a bloke on the other side bringing his car out.
All that space, completely f*****g empty, 100 meters by 30 meters he reversed into my bike, he was not even opposite, some really old man that should not have been driving.
A tear ran down my face, I stood there with no words.
He issued the infamous words “oooh I didn’t see it”
He bloody saw his bank account drop though by £200, a fine bit of money in 1989, got Tank, side panel, tail repainted and a new r/h exhaust, the rest I spent on a weekend in Blackpool with my staggeringly beautiful, Latin American dancer girlfriend.... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I think I speak for the 'forum here, when I say; that whilst undoubtedly that is a sad story to recount about the bike;

my attention has somewhat shifted to the far MORE interesting story; of the weekend in Blackpool with your staggeringly beautiful, Latin American dancer girlfriend....

However-

perhaps that's another thread!
