Unless I imagined it, I was sure the rev counter and speedometer did a quick sweep across and back when you turn on the ignition before starting. If so, mine have stopped doing it, but work fine in every other way wacko.gif

must be imagination biggrin.gif at least what I remember instrument cluster sweep is on Mito/Giulietta/Giulia/Stelvio

Some motorbikes do that, but not the 145, GTV or the Spider that Iíve seen.
Recently my instruments stated to misbehave in all weird ways. It started with the alternator light not always coming on. Then the Rev counter was telling porkies followed by the fuel gauge. Then the speedo was way out so I knew I had to fix it.
Thankfully just changing the instrument pod for a replacement cured them all. An easy job but of course the miles on the car is no different. No big deal though!
