The second reconditioned power steering pump survived a day at Castle Combe. So relieved!

I was a bit reserved on the track just to try and slowly break the pump in, but it survived all sessions as well as the drive there and back, so I should be able to push it more at the next track day.

Here is a vid of all four 10minute sessions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irMSX5uVpyw...z6KTrGb7BnQ3vng

Next up is MOT in a few weeks. I know it need a new driveshaft gaiter, but hopefully thats it!

Cheers! Can't believe it took me so long to get it on that track now. Here are some other pics from my phone if anyone is interested:

Very glad to see your 145 back in action!!

What a nice race track! Lots of speed!

These gaiters are a PITA, my 145 had both inner sides split, spilling grease all over the place.

Thanks. It's been a painful 2 months sorting it!

I'll leave the gaiter for the garage to do at MOT time. Had enough of getting my hands dirty for now smile.gif

You know you can get split zip up gaiters that you supetglue together? Was a bit sceptical but faced with either that or splitting the hub and getting out the ky jelly I thought I'd give it a try. Hasn't failed yet and it took 20 minutes to fit. Cost less than a tenner too...
