I know this is a bit nerdy, but ...

I didn't think any phase 1 cars had colour coded bumpers. I'm going to have to dig out an old brochure now.
Two statements that stretch the truth in the ad ..
"They were built to withstand a test of time, as the body work was finished with Galvanised metal which means rust was not an issue". Outer panels yes, but everything else nope
and
"Navy velour trim". Looks like cloth to me

Yeah, no colour coded bumpers on the phase 1 cars - my first 145 was 1999 Junior - and the interior is cloth.

Some of the language is definitely aimed at those who don't know 145s...

EDIT: Reg number is T233 BPS (as per the tax disc photo).

I think late Juniors came with color coded bumpers. I've seen several on the road, also check out this one from the wikipedia article.

My Junior was the same blue as the one you've linked.
Pretty sure that the UK phase 1 cars weren't available colour coded. It may have been an otion, but I don't remember it being so at the time.

OK another one! Must be the season for 145's.
This one is selling as a cloverleaf, but has a 1.6 badge on the back huh.gif

It would be interesting to see if these cars sell for anywhere near their asking price. I can't imagine there's a big market for them. Probably only us on this forum!

I quite fancy that car- it looks pretty straight; cone-filter not withstanding

I'm hoping for a special dispensation, once the 'deposit taken' falls through...

HANGON! I actually typed that, before reading your link!

It's THIS, i was talking about!!

It's a 1.6 with the optional extra of Aircon, by the looks of it, and the Momo leather could well have been an added option fom new also.
Plate number is V981 HLF and it's MOT history doesn't read like too much of a horror story.
