Me again, having sorted out the stereo, dodgy alarm system and numerous other trivial bits I've just discovered that the rear speakers don't work.

How do you remove the rear grilles without busting them as the car interior is mint and I don't want to be the first to damage it!

Were they working before you changed the stereo? If yes, then it's unlikely to be anything at the speaker end and it's more likely that you've wired the rear speakers up incorrectly to the new stereo.

if you twist the cover clock wise till it stops then there is a lug at the bottom if you get a small scrawl driver then push the lug/tab up then prull the speaker cover out

to be honest I dont know if they ever worked, I rarely spend time in the car other than when I'm fixing stuff and her indoors wouldn't hear any difference anyway.

I got one grill off in one piece and they are connected so its gonna be a wiring problem somewhere, I didnt touch the speaker wiring so it shouldnt be anything to do with me.

Anyways after bu**ering about with that alarm she'll have to live with it as it is as I am doing nothing else tonight !
