Hi everyone,

At last, I threw the towel of searching this info, so I need to ask people of the forum why ePer shows differents refs for MY'99 Cloverleaf/Ti bumpers and Base/Medium/Rich bumpers, there are different in size or what?

Cheers!

Hi Antonio
The measurements are the same but the fitments are slightly different
The phase two bumpers are fully colour coded where the phase one are half coded - btw the Zoe was just in phase 2
You can put phase one on a phase 2 and vs versa but you would need to modify the fittings on the inner wings and also change the front front grill if you were to swap over to a phase one bumper

purplebug on here, has a phase 1 car with a bumper fully colour coded, so initially it looks like a phase2!

It's quite smart!

but I guess purplebug painted them himself. cause ph1 never had fully body painted bumpers. when I bought my ph1 1.6 Boxer it also had body painted bumpers but it was done by previous owner. and I like them biggrin.gif

back to Antonio original question. as far as I've seen, from MY'99 bumpers were either fully body painted or had black strip. and because when you buy new one, they come prepared for spray shop, so two different part number are probably because of those black plastic strips either exposed or primed.
I've never seen TI/QV side by side next to regular one's so can't tell much more
