lock wasn't opening using door's outside handle. happened that a PLASTIC!!! pin holding a mechanism finally failed. substituted by a steel bolt and washer. sorry, no pics.
happy, because you can't find these on a dealer and would be an expensive part. also, 2nd hand are very rare.

There's still a bit of this stuff blowing round on eBay- I need to sort a stiff passenger side solenoid; I've replaced it before.

Shocked to hear of a plastic link-pin! Good fix!
