Walking through the parts shop today and noticed a whole range of turtle wax products... In particular I looked at the Turtle Wax Nano Tech Wax. I'm currently using meguiars 3step shine but just wondering if this isn't better on my black paint?

Anyone used it or had any experience with Turtle wax?

I've used the older traditional Turtle Wax products ok. Not tried Nano Tech wax though

I use the wash and wax shampoo.
Its good and cheap to throw over the car,
The polish, i have found it hard to wipe off.

Thanks for the input there gents.. I just thought I'd try it but it seem like its quite a tough polish to work with but then again, some elbow grease never hurt anyone rolleyes.gif

Perhaps I should just try their wax and see what the result is like coz I find that meguiars leaves a true mirror like shine and lasts for a decent amount of time, considering our harsh weather conditions here whistle.gif

I agree with everyone else on the Turtle Wax stuff. It's alright, just not great and can require a lot of work to get it to look good. I usually use Mer polish and Collintines wax. The Collintines is quite expensive but well worth it with the finish!

Just as an update I thought I'd reply to this thread. I polished my moms FSi golf last week and after alot bit of work I think it looks great. Being rather impressed by this turtle wax nano tech wax I decided I would give my 145 a wax when I get home today and I must say it produced a great shine! biggrin.gif it's a deep shine and it seems to fill those ever so feint surface scratches so well. I'm not saying its better than meguiars but this turtle wax is great just to give your paint some extra protection and gross

Will post some pics in the morning blush.gif
