I'll definitely be going to Newby Hall. I'd love to go to Brooklands, but the "no dogs allowed" is a bit of a problem as we'd need to get a dog sitter for the day. Might see if that's possible though.

I'll see you at Spring Alfa Day.. hopefully in the 145 I've been doing up. Don't expect it to be pristine - priority is MOT and reliability. It's a long way from Yorkshire!!

Now a request...

Would anybody be willing to let me read the RFID chip in their 'standard' Alfa-Code key (i.e. not the master) that I can use as a basis for making my own 'standard' keys?
I have cloned a master, as that was the only key that came with the car, and copied it over to 2 spare keys but these are still both 'masters' so I cannot learn them in as 'normal everyday' keys.

I have a reader / clone box so just need to read in a key and find out what the format of the coding is then I can use that knowledge to subtly alter the code and write it to my copies.

This is just passive, so no harm will be done to your keys! Thanks to any willing participants! This would be done at Beaulieu 'live' so you can watch me try!! Also, if anybody wants any copies of their keys making I have a few spare transponder chips.. you just need to get your keys physically cut at any good locksmiths.

Sure, you're welcome to read one of mine at Beaulieu...

dammit-

I can't find the thread that was the 'Newby Hall thread'.

I'm sorry- I'm going to have to let everyone down on this.

Finances prevent me from journeying down to Newby Hall- I'm not as far ahead as I wanted to be financially (or; put another way; I'm too far away from breaking even), and now the car needs a wheel bearing.

It is still my intention to attend the Scottish Italian Car Day at Hopetoun House, on the 26th May (although I don't think anyone reading this on here will be there)

apologies

That's a shame especially as you've done all of the work mapping all of us out. Never mind - Maybe next time fingcross.gif

Exactly!

I might even head over in the 166 to start with, then pop back and bring the GT over... if I manage to get them both presentable tomorrow...

It was good to see some old faces and some new. Sorry I didn't catch you Ganz; you must have been quite late to the party. I saw your 145 parked near the taxiway though.

Did anybody get an pictures? I'm afraid I didn't really get any - too busy looking with eyes.
