I changed my front and rear speakers with more modern items, but simply run them off my head unit. I can't be bothered trying to fit a amp and then trying to run cables and all that nonsense. Try squeeze in some new front speakers, nothing expensive, it will make a huge difference.
Well, when you consider the price of fuel at the moment it is only the equivilent of 2 tanks of petrol in the UK
I used to love the Pioneer stuff but they seem to have gone a bit off track with their way-out designs in recent times.
With previous cars I've always gone the whole hog and fitted individual amps for the fronts, rears and sub but this time I will probably just stick with the head unit outputs and the 4 in-car speakers although something better than the standard ones
