Hi All

Just bought another 146ti. Very low miles (31k) and great condition too, one of the last ones from 2001. Some subtle changes compared with my 1999 one.

If anyone knows anything about the car could they let me know. Looks like it was originally around the Chesterfield / Sheffield areas.

Many Thanks
Mark..

Rosso Alfa 130- got to be the ultimate colour for a TI...

That looks sensational- are those side skirt badges always on the TI..?

I'd like to get mine looking like that- although I'm going to need a bit of bodywork before I've got that quality of paint finish!

And before that however, I'm going to need some fairly serious welding!

What interior have you got on that Mrmarkyt...?

Hi

Many thanks - it does look good!

Yep the ti badges are always on the side skirts and are a nice finishing touch.

The interior is in black cloth with red Alfa Romeo logos on the front seats , just below the head rests. Interior is pretty durable, my other one has done 120k and the seats are still in good shape.

Thanks
Mark..

How does your example with 120k run, Mark...?

My 1.8 seems to run very well, with 103k on it, in no small part due to former owner Jeremy G's efforts.

But it makes me feel optimistic for the future- it doesn't have a puff of smoke or anything- and the cloth interior is in terrific nick.

I just saw an example for sale (somewhere) with the tan Momo interior that was sensational actually.

Hi JimP

Yep the one with 120k on it runs well - regularly makes trips across the country to see my sons at Uni. Still pulls very well ! Plenty of miles left in it.

I do like the leather interiors as they do up the quality of the cabin.

Can't remember the last time I saw another 146 on the road they have all but disappeared now which is a real shame as they are much underrated.

Thanks
Mark..

Hey Mark-

That's good to hear about the high mileage reliability.. As I intend to use mine quite a bit (6k a year) hopefully...

Yes- I've had my eye on the 146-scene, in terms of car availability for some years- in fact; before I was an owner- I was a member of this forum in about 2008.

And then 'suddenly'; there's none.

None of the road, none for sale.

And that is when I had to move to a purchase!

Plus- it's taken about ten years for the shape to mature in my mind- I now think it's dynamite!

Hey Mark-

Tell me something;

Does the TI have an oil cooler on it..?
