Hey Ganz-

that is ACE- nice one!

I'll print this out and stick pins in a map, and try and see which one is easiest for me to attend.

Alternatively; maybe we should try for a groundswell of interest for one particular event' try and get 'everyone' out..?

Hey guys. That's great! If all three of us go thats the whole forum! Only kidding other members tongue.gif

In the past on the forum members have used Auto Italia in Brooklands as 'the' event. As there is loads to see and do there. But its in surrey which even for me is a trek, usually M25 adds an extra hour to the journey time due to delays, accidents or roadworks every year. Having said that I've not missed a Brooklands Auto Italia event for the past 5 years.

145man the Dutch meet is gonna be great for the 145s. I've not booked it yet but will do. Dante there aren't many AROC events this which are near to you. See if you can make some of them.

Can't wait to see the Alfasud Ti and the 145. The Spettacollo should be spectacular! Are you going in the 145 to that one?

Great stuff thumbup.gif I didn't know about the festivalItalia at Brand hatch so have put that in my diary. It's the week before the Zandvoort Spettacolo Sportivo in Holland but will try and make it. The Coventry museum meet is where I'm going to display my 145. So if anyone fancies coming along to see it it'll be there.

145man I was thinking maybe we could meet up along the way to the ferry to the Spettacollo? Are you going Harwich to Zeebrugge route and then going through Belgium?

There was an Alfa meet today with something like 20 people signing up. I didn't check my fb last night so missed it today. I couldn't help noticing that we have more chance of getting loads of people together via the Alfa fb pages. So I'm going to be posting events I'm going to on fb too.

The groups I belong to are in order of activity:

Alfabook. This group seems to most active for organising meet and greets. Started as a social media group for UK Alfisti. They even have their own website https://alfabook.co.uk/ and Instragram #alfabook

Alfabook Modified. Yes, this is a tearaway faction of Alfabook for Alfisti who have modded their Alfas.

Alfa Romeo 145 & 146 155 & 156 EU_Tuning Club

Alfa Romeo 145/146 group run by clover breakers

Alfa155.org - For Alfa 155 enthusiasts! This group already has a calendar event for the Spettacolo where you can see who is going. If there are some Brits going it's good to know.

If you join any of the groups you can create your own calendar events and see what interest there is.

Wow, 2018 is gonna be the year of events. No more garage work!!

Hi Ganz

I live quite close to Harwich, so I take the over night ferry from there to the Hook of Holland. This year I am staying in Haarlem leaving on Thursday arriving early Friday morning - itís a good trip.
At the moment Iím booked to take the over night ferry back to Harwich on Sunday, but I may extend it if the weather is decent and stay in Zandvoort.
We can meet on the way that would be cool, let me know what your plans are.

Of course I forgot you can go direct to the Hook. Going Friday and spending a night to catch up on sleep would be good. Then to Zandvoort. I would have to get back on Sunday to get to work on Monday. Wow, I've not done any 'road' trips since I was 20. Quite excited about the prospect. Let me sort out my travel arrangements. Yes it would be way cool to meet up to the event.

(An Alfa 145 / 146 group run by Cloverbreakers?! That'll be what my gf wanted the 'winter 145 / 146 pictures' for, then)

Maybe it's time for me to join FB then Ganz

I think Fb and Instagram are far more active and the way to go. Loads more 145/6 owners who post everyday. This forum still great for knowledge base stuff.

Yeah know what you mean about living. I drink and each too much and as an athlete roflmao.gif I know I should be training and hitting the gym the last 5years but at least I've lived life in last 5 years.

Good work on the list. I've put them all in a list with the other stuff I want to do this year.

I'll be at Brooklands [Reading Beer Festival is always the day before - I only do the Friday afternoon session there to make sure I can drive the next morning] and Duxford and probably Weston Park with AROC.
Alton is just down the road from me
The AROC SW day is at Sparkord Haynes Museum on Sunday 20th May.

I've heard good things about Spettacolo Sportivo at Zandvoort

I wonder if anyone has the technical know how to do a poll, so we can all subscribe to events that are coming, to gauge who goes where and to what.

Don't mention it Desperado. It was a pleasure. If I didn't do it I feared another year may drift by where I don't really do much. Gonna get to Brooklands as soon as they open to make sure of a spot. Do some polishing before the punters arrive. Ganzarola will be there!

Dante that's a great idea. Polls are a dwindling breed of technology probably only found on forums. Social media comm channels like fb use RSVP so you know how many and who is gong.

thanks for that positivity Ganz!

If I get a chance tomorrow morning- I may cut & paste and abbreviate your initial post and then repost it again, so that people have space to put their names next to each potential event.
