Since I got my QV back in November I have been getting a slight back pain but recently it's got really bad sad.gif

So I was wondering what other seats are better than the normal QV seats as this is turning into being a huge problem as it's starting to make me not wanna drive because of the pain which I so don't want to stop me driving her as I love it smile.gif smile.gif

So any ideas people?

Okay then....... I'll narrow that down a bit then, are there any orginal Alfa seats that fit in the 145 eg: like you can fit the Recaro leather from the 147 into a normal cloth 147

I would LOVE to have the Recaro's from the 147s fitted as they are the most comfy and supportive seats I have sat in from Alfa EVER!! I guess with some modding you could fit them I suppose?

the phase 2 seats imo do hold you in better and overall more comfortable and not so hard on the bum wink.gif

GTV seats are low and have even more bolster for support on the sides.

I believe 147/156/155 seats need a big adjustment. But 155 seats arent that comfortable anyway.

I get/had that. Sitting closer has made it somewhat better but the position in a 145 will never be ideal.

That's a better response tongue.gif

I think I might look for some GTV seats once I have sat in my facelift QV when I finally get her to see what those seats are like, thanks biggrin.gif

lowering the seat should help a little.

How about getting a heating pad or a massaging pad? Lidl sometimes does them cheap!

I thought the 147 front seats were a straight swap, it is the rear seats that do not fit without lots of hassle. Even my daughters old Bravo had a beyter seat than the 145, I could have worn a hat in that despite having a sunroof.

The seat mechanism is so superior on a 147, loads of adjustment. I have been trying to source, half-heartedly admittedly a 147 drivers seat and swap the covers over, but cannot seem to find one near enough or cheap enough.

I found the 155 seats very very confortable, really. Much more so than the seats of my 146 Junior.

But, seriously unless you want one hell of a job on your hands dont even consider putting 155 seats in a 145, i did the conversion the other way round it it was bad enough cutting the floor of the car to fit the 145 seats, you'd need to add bits to fit 155 seats to a 145, i literally cant be bothered to sit and type the masive list of differences but i will say its massive.

I thought you said they sent straight in?

What you want are some 156 recaros, i've seen a 145 with some of these in and you can normally get them cheap on ebay.

I found the 155 seats incredibly comfortable! No issues with them at all.

The 156 GTA seats were just superb!

The black 145 QV I had however, horrible.

This red 'un. LOVELY!!!

And I am very tall with rather long legs so it's a bit of a surprise that I do find the 145 comfortable!

I'm not exactly massive but at 5'11" I feel like I'm sitting on a chair thats sat on a milk crate when I'm driving the 145, the Mrs at 5'1" would probably disagree !! biggrin.gif

Is it an easy mod to lower the seat or is it a pain in the arras?

What do you need to do to lower them ??

I'm guessing it'll involve cutting an welding ??

There is a How To on it Zag, but frankly it looks like WAYYYYYY too much effort! I'm 6'6" and don't have any issues!
