Here is the promised post of dismantling the indicator stalks. And of course, I actually did this myself!

This part is held in by a pin. Best thing to do is to drift it out. The only alternative is too splice it apart in the middle.

Where I made the 'cut'

Another view of the pin.

Once you have that last part off you can pull out the printed circuit board

Finally the printed circuit board

Hope this helps. Not quite a "How to" but I thought I'd let the pics do the talking.

Ganz, you're the BEST! biggrin.gif pictures gave me clear idea about pin's length and how it looks. so just vandalized mine wiper stalk.

guys!!! you don't have to cut anything. there's is enough space to push pin into the stalk (couple milimeters) so that you'll be able to slide turning ring from it. but push will require quite force ohmy.gif

Ganz, cheers once again wink.gif

Cheers Shpuncik. I 'sacrifised' the stalks for the benefit of the forum lol! As i suspected if you got a thin piece of metal you could drift out the pin just as you found out. Well done.

If you did cut it you can always glue it back and then the knurled rubber sleeve goes over it so you won't see the cut anyway.

Glad the pics helped.
