Can anybody say;

What this is for?

It's too narrow for a pen...

(I just had the glovebox off again to swap out my interior cabin fan- and found my face pressed against it, and wondered what it was...)

I still think it's for pen, just haven't tested it with those old school BIC blue biro pens biggrin.gif

Oh, okay...

I suppose it IS the most likely scenario- I just can't imagine what would fit in there. It's got to be about 4mm wide...

Recently; it has bothered me that the glovebox doesn't light at night...

🤔

Is it supposed to? Don't recall mine ever lighting up!

Interestingly (or not), a mate recently bought a Giulietta QV, but the A/C didn't work. Once fixed, he found his glovebox is cooled!

It's got to be for a pen or pencil. one of those you usually get with a diary. They're thin like the old PDA stylus. That's what I reckon. Only other thing it could be is just the clips behind for the string that holds the glovebox.. seen stranger things. In fact the more I look at it the more I think it's the claw end of the clips :-)

Hey Steve-

yeah; I read that somewhere about the Giulietta. I guess I'll have to get my AC working before I can retrofit such a detail unsure.gif

Not sure what any of us could potentially look forward to cooling in our glove boxes on our cars- (with the glove boxes the size they are)- perhaps the owners manual is best handled 'cool'...

Ganz- you mean; you think those things might be to hold the string? Surely if the glovebox comes off- it's 'remote' to the string..? Have I misunderstood what you mean..?

Yes. That's what I think. What's behind it? Not had a look at mine but it looks like the string holder.
