Hi
After changing the thermostat and replacing all of the coolant a few weeks ago, I've just discovered a crack in the expansion tank angry.gif
There's a few for sale on ebay that all look the same and like mine (2.0TS), but the cheapest are listed under the 1.6TS, 1.4TS, but don't list the 2.0 as compatible. Surely all CF2 models use the same tank (I don't need a new cap). Can anyone confirm that it's the same for all TS engine sizes?
thanks

Pretty damn sure. Just changed the one on my 1.6 last Friday. The bonnet was up on my 2.0 in the garage and I had a look to see. Same part. I should’ve used that and helped my Xmas cash flow!
On eBay I saw about 6 sellers. Same photo mostly. I bought the cheapest and it is identical to the original:
3 screws holding it place have 7mm heads!
Get replacement jubilee clips because I doubt you can reuse the original ones.
Easy job to do in this cold weather!

Eper says:

Expansion Tank
part no. 60693147 (latest version)

which fits
145 (T5 1997-1999 & W3 1999-2000)
146 (T6 1997-1999 & W4 1999-2000)
147 (BZ/DS 2000 onwards)
156 (BENZINA [petrol] 1997-2002)
156 (M.Y . 2002 BZ/DS 2001 onwards)
GT (X2 2003 onwards)

original price : £13.23 [though I doubt that that is the main stealer price now huh.gif ]

latest coolant tank fits a lot other models. just as sanitary wrote in his post.
VROOM, you could use your VIN number and check ePER - it also fits Fiats, not only Alfas so won't be a problem to find another one.

Thanks all. I was pretty sure it was the same so I'll go for the cheapest on ebay.
