I appear to be missing a couple of relays on the 146. Or maybe just one:

The car is a '99 Phase 2 1.8 146.

Firstly, the relay for the rear fog lights - according to the manual, this should occupy the empty slot second down on the right hand side.

Secondly, the indicator/hazards relay should be installed on the top row, second from right.

Does anyone know the part number of the relays required here?

(In fact - does anyone have a list of part numbers for the other relays on a 145/146?)

I discovered a large black relay in the ashtray which seems to have the correct terminal layout for the rear fog lights - marked "A 727 651" and "46409709" - and I'm wondering if this is one of the missing units...?

But then again: the workshop manual (for fusebox C) has the sunroof at top right (no sunroof in my car), and a blank second from right on the top row... so perhaps I'm just short of the rear fog light relay?

Hangon Mr G,

I'm just going out in mine- I'll get a shot of Fuesbox-C for you now, for comparison...

Thank you sir - although I've just answered my own question by re-fitting the extra black relay: rear fog lamp is now tested and working fine.

I wonder why that would have been removed?

Anyhow, that's all of the easily-fixed, non-rust-related items from the previous MoT fail dealt with - now time to book it in with my local testers...

Thanks - the large black relay in the upper right corner is the one I replaced earlier, for the rear fog light. So all good!

Looks like I am missing a relay that you have, though!

Five up, on the right...
