now i dont know how these compare to Alfa garages or private alfa specialists but EUROCARCARE in DERBY is where i take mine. they're trustworthy, know what they're doing and honest.
i think http://www.eurocarcare.co.uk might help -------------------- Coppers say "Speed limits are just that.. A limit - Not a target"
I say "Bollox" |

WAD have got a new web site - giving their contact details and outline of their services.
Willy and Adrian have been working together for years, so as The_Reverend says, most diagnosis are done over the phone before you get there! http://www.wad-alfaromeo.co.uk/ |

Tanc Barratt near Kidderminster. Primarily renowned as being one of the better Lancia specialists but they also specialise in Alfas, however I don't yet know of anyone who has used them for doing any work on Alfas.

can anyone tell how much it costs about for a new cam belt, and when it may have to be changed please, ![]() AforAlfa (also a member on here) was recently doing the job for £300 including VAT & labour, and that also included a new variator as well. Best to give him a call to confirm the actual current price. Other places will charge ~£300-350 but that doesn't include a new variator (the variator itself costs ~£90 for just the part, not fitted). -------------------- |

Forgot to mention that the belts (and all tensioners) should be changed every 36k miles minimum. If the service history shows no evidence of them having been changed within the last 36k then you should be looking to get them done ASAP. -------------------- |
