Just bought an x reg, 59k, proteo red (I think), natural leather.

18 yrs 1 owner, 5 months or so 1 owner that didn't register in his name, excellent inside and good out, drives straight and true, brakes in a straight line.

Got an inkling somethings not right, just not found it yet.

Another 146ti - that's three in the last few weeks!

Welcome - and please post some pics.

(If your car is a sort of metallic raspberry colour, then yes, it's Proteo Red. Great colour!)

thats ace, Stevie!- welcome along;

As Jeremy says; truly a renaissance moment!

Can you show us the natural leather interior, please..?

Air conditioning too!!!

Those brake lines look new!? Looks like someone has done a bit of DIY cable management on the back of the MAF sensor- no bad thing.

Hiya, yes the maf plug rubber has split former owner had blue insulation tape, you can see on engine pic, I then dismantled the inlet hoses, and replaced that tape with black fabric tape.

Is that the 146ti that was recently on ebay?

Does look very nice indeed especially with the leather.

Black leather would have been more my style, but I've been taken aback by so many positive comments on the 'natural' I'm liking it now.

Well, not wishing to stir the pot - but I have a 166 in Proteo Red. It has a black leather interior which does work really well with the Proteo...

I'm fitting new suspension struts, springs/dampers, brakes, top mounts.

I'm using as a daily car, so want it all to be spot on. I noticed on my drive home, judder at high speed, and high speed braking.

Although the tyres are very good treat depth, there a ditch finder brand, and also 50 rather than 55 (noticed Speedo was 6 or 7 mph out to my sat nav).

Using kyb shocks and vogtland 30mm lowering springs with pagid discs/pads and 15mm spacers.

Here's before photos.

Yes, pads are ok, but discs look ready.

I've gotten me 4 nuts off bottom of strut, 3 came off easy, one I had to get my induction heater on, which melted the nylon in the nut. Doing a bit each night this week.
