Hi all Jtd owners, I just reacentlly bought my 145 jtd. As I was very happy with my old junior t.s. also expect the same from this car. It has 70000 miles and is produced 2000. As the above sais, my problem is overheating. When I drive normally the temeprature sits at 90 deg. as it should. When I speed up the temp starts to climb, and drops when I slow down. I changed termostat with new temp. sender. All speeds of fans are working. What else could be the problem?

What temperature range does your engine run from and to? Diesel engines run a lot hotter than petrol engines so don't compare against what people in petrol cars see.

I understand that, but I also read service manual, and it sais that operating temperature for this engine is 90 deg. so I recon that should be. Eaven if the jtd is operating at higher temps. it should stay still at one temperature. This is my opinion, because all the parts of the engine cooling system are working to mantain stady temperature.
