I just found other forums linking to this place:

http://www.pitstartgarage.com/self_service.html

I'm looking to get my alfa up in the air for some essential underneath maintenance and these guys rent ramps by the hour!
It would be about an 80 mile trip for me, but would save 's in the long term as I can give the underside a nice new coat of underseal etc.

I was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience of them. It's called pitstart garage in Acton.

Yes I do! I am a GOLD member....which basically means that you should get in touch with me and you can get the car on the ramps for 40+ VAT for the whole day instead of 80 +VAT...DROP ME A PM!

Have a look at a place called Ramp and Wrench in Cov. Approx 15 per hour for the lifts plus a selection of tools for hire.
