Excuse the rant but really cheesed off. The 145 is parked on the street and some muppet stopped in the road to reverse into a parking space, managing only to successfully reverse into the NS rear quarter panel just behind the wheel arch of my car. They drove off and took the wing mirror off Mrs Muskie's car, which was parked next to the 145. Witnesses but no registration. rant.gif

oh murdering death- that's horrendous

how bad is the damage, Muskie?

Is it through the paint- did the bumper suffer anything?

Thanks DG. It's not too bad. Bumper intact - just some paint damage. Some bad dents behind wheel arch. It's been in desperate need of a respray since I've got it (6 shades of Alfa red and pink), but sorting out the mechanics has come first. Perhaps now might be the time to sort the paintwork out. Every cloud, etc.

Hope they get their comeuppance! I'm working on a Raspberry Pi that will stream live webcam footage to my server. It works off a spare 4G phone I have in my car. It connects to a free local wifi. It's connected via USB to the car's battery. Its means I can view the footage at any time I want.

Crikey Ganz- that's hitech! Get-in! As they say

Ah- well; if you've had a bit of paint 'to do', Muskie; then indeed this might be the perfect time.
Imagine how bad it would have been if you'd JUST had that done.

Good not to have lost the bumper...
