I have finally got a decent LOUD system installed in my car and totally loving it.

I got Rockford fosgate 6.5 put in the door, they even managed to get the tweeters wired and fitted in the usual tweeter location,

I also invested in a Rockford Fosgate punch 400 amp,

Was going to get a 12" Rockford sub put in but it is loud enough at moment and more than enough bass,

I have no rattles at all as also got dyno mat installed in door cards.

Have just bought a set of Rockford 5.25's for the rear of car to complete the setup add those to the amp then all sorted.

If needs be at later stage i will chuck in a sub.

All complemented by my Kenwood heat unit that is all bells and whistles.

My neighbours moan they can hear me coming home now. pappap.gif naughty.gif roflmao.gif laugh.gif

No got the standard shelf in the car, but have all the speakers in thier usual places, did not want to destroy my parcel shelf or have my speakers on display so decided to get them put where they belong.

Got a great deal on the whole package, 500 installed, worth every penny so far!!

ROCKFORD FOSGATE is the way forward for sound and clarity and punch.

They did all the installation on it, so not sure which mat they used, but i am back in store on Friday providing the new speakers have arrived then i will get these installed and more mats put in so i can let you know what they use.

If memory serves me correct it is VIBE dyno mat, but i may be wrong!

Screwfix have it also Wickes/B&Poo etc.

Same depth and density as dynamat apparently, The flashband stops panels vibrating by turning vibrations into heat. With the panel deadened , this make the car quieter, you can then lay acoustic felt on top to make things even quieter

yahooooooo! my neighbour just knocked on my door to give me my parcel from the States,

My Rockford Fosgate 5.25" speakers for the back seats have arrived.

A lot cheaper and damn quick delivery.

60 for speakers and delivery and only took 4 days to get here, If only "Royal Snail" could hurry up and deliver like that!!!

So that is weekend ahead planned and in the calender.

if i could add all those speakers i would!!

That sounds like a menacing system set up,

Get some decent door speakers, not worth putting rubbish as all you get is fuzzy sound and watery eyes!!!

I am planning on a full Rockford set up for my car.

I bought a Rockford headunit on Flea bay just waiting for it to arrive.

8 to 10 days from Shropshire!!! is he walking it to me!!

At the moment i have a mutant 12" sub in back and i hate it with a passion. it is all growl and rumble but not enough clarity to go with the Rockford amp and Rockford speakers already in the car.

Mutant= poo!

So i now have my eye on another Rockford amp and Rockford 12" shallow sub.

That should be more than enough sound.
