Hello my 145/146 sufferers...

who ever designed the seats for our beauties should have been sh*t.
I've owned 3 145s over the years, 2 with Momo leather and 1 with cloth.
All had the drivers side height adjuster removed...(lowered the seat)
...made the driving experience so much nicer.
Still makes my back crying out loud.
Are there any alternative seats apart from aftermarket to suit?
I'm not worried if small alterations are required.
I want to sit as low as possible...
I'm not driving a bus! lol

So the 156 seat topic but the pictures have vanished...shame
Help please...

I share your pain, Gropius...

JUST completed a 274 mile Edinburgh to Scrabster epic, for New Year in the Northern Isles- and my neck isn't in a good place.

For me; it's lower-back bracing that seems to make the difference.

156 seats seem to be the way to go- but you should maybe also look into GTV seats, which are probably even more ubiquitous...

The problem with 156 seats...
THEY ARE JUST TO BIG

The 916 seats are lighter and much lower in design...
...but to find a drivers seat in half decent condition has been proven to be rather difficult.
Even a s**t one is f**king expensive.
I've purchased a set of front seats from a 146.
Something not quite right here (apart from the non tilting action).
NO support at all.
I remember on the 155.org forum someone was using 156 leather and foam and put it on the original 155 frame...
...food for thoughts...

I've got them from Nathan @ Cloverbreakers.
Just the fronts and cloth with the Alfa Romeo writing all over.
Still need to clean them properly.

It was Alex [Wobble Master] and if I remember the fronts were a direct swap but the rear needed more modification as the 156 seat is too wide for the 155 frame smile.gif
