HI all,

I've listed my used roof racks on ebay for anyone that's interested.

99p with no reserve.

Thanks

Hey Robert,

That's interesting...!

Can I ask how they attach? Do we have a cut-out on the roof rails that removes to give access..?

And are they proper Alfa items..?

Hi Dante,

I can only speak for the 145 but I would assume that the 146 installation is much the same.

The bars hook round 4 anchor points located behind the rubber roof seals. Once the bars are hooked around these points the bars are tightened together to make a tight fit. I didn't notice any damage on my car when I removed them so they are a good custom fit. I'm not sure if they are official Alfa items. I can see from the instructions that they are made in Italy.

Thanks for the interest. smile.gif

Hi Robert-

Thank you for going into detail, with that.

Can I ask, if there is a part number, within the instructions..?

Hi Jim,

I see a number on the instructions which is 29711459. I don't know for sure if that is the part number or not.
I've since found that the maker of the racks is FAPA.

Cheers
