I'll be going to Bruntingthorpe on Sunday and have booked the afternoon track sessions. Not sure which car I'll be taking but if the weather turns out as currently forecast then it's likely it'll be the 145.

I was there. I was in the crazy 147 1.6!! Got blown away by everyone but to be fair on the 147 it's a bog standard 1.6 driven by a t**t. Amazed I got 100mph in fourth (cuz I forgot to change gear!!).

Shame I didn't get the chance to chat to you. What a cracking 145 you have coolio.gif . The Braids' look awesome on it coolio.gif coolio.gif . Loved the lights (what you got? - and what bucket seats have you got?? ). The the car went like stink! worshippy.gif worshippy.gif What speeds and rpm were you getting. What mods have you got. Questions questions questions...

Great Pictures smile.gif So in the end I didn't take the 145, but had great fun with my SZ even though it developed a problem and wouldn't rev above 5,000rpm.

@Nigel - Didn't see you, but did have a good look at your car. Very nice - love the wheels, seats etc.

Perhaps we need a 145 track day ? smile.gif

So all I've done with my145 braking wise is braided hoses, new standard discs on the front with DS2500 pads and new fluid. Works very well and rarely overheat - if they do then I know I've been out too long!

Pics look great.

Popping out of 3rd gear will probs mean one of the engine mounts.

It only happened once on the last lap of the first session at the end of the long straight i don't think i had been over excessive on the brakes so it's something i need to sort out.

Thanks for that it really wasn't too much of a problem on the road so have put off sorting it out but out on the track it really was annoying having to drive with one hand on the wheel and the other holding it in gear so i will have to get it sorted
