Just a quick update, got some gauges sorted:

DIN sized holder was off ebay. Durite gauges are temporary until I can afford some more Stack gauges!!!

Panda has been taking up a lot of time lately and Punto is due dreaded MOT but 145 should be up and running soon-ish.

Ok stupid question time, so is this just a case of finding the equivalent wires on the 145, cutting them and soldering the Fiat ends on?

I'm not great with the wiring side blush.gif

Hi Duncan,

You really did a great job!!! Looks good and probably it drives and sounds even better ?!
My son is “suffering” a similar project. See the attached pictures …
The project realization due time is more important than the showroom look.
But … still it’s a real challenge for (my son) a 22 years old car technician.

OK, I think you are both guys with the same passion who are trying to improve the current 145TS on an inimitable manner. Cheers!

We have a few pressing questions:

• How did you attach the Fiat motor management to the 145TS (year of construction 2000)? Did you use the 145 fuse box and contact switch?
• How do you get around with electronic contact code (start interrupter)? Or did you use the original Fiat contact switch?
• Is the Fiat ABS compatible with the Alfa 145 and interchangeable or did you use the current 145 ABS and corresponding drive shafts?
• Do you have wire diagrams with hand made track changes? Of course we have the original 145 TS wiring diagrams and the Coupé workshop manual http://polak.ch/coupemanual/index.html
• Are the speed and rpm gauges from the 145 compatible with the Fiat ECU and/or ABS? How did you manage that?
• The fuel pump ECU connection? Are they different? Basically we want to use the Fiat pump in the 145 …

I hope that you can help us with those topics … Of course we will report the results and pictures on the forum.
Thanks in advance!

Their is the build thread for mine which is the 20v turbo on here too for reference.
In mine the coupe fuel pump is used and the coupe speedo sensor is used on the Alfa speedo.
The front end is all coupe on mine inc driveshafts etc.

I work for Virgin media so if you want a deal or want to join let me know. :)
