My Hannah - I'll never forget the day I watched her drive out of the car park on that trailer. Worst car decision I ever made even over and above selling the 20VT. Most fun I had ever had. Light, solid, great engine.

MOT expired in July this year but it still has tax??

The dip stick snapped? Not whilst it was in my ownership.

When I first bought her, 2 weeks later I put her on the dyno and it span number 3 big shell so by the time I got it back to the city it had slipped 2 teeth on the belt, slightly overheated and also hit a number of valves so essentially, the engine was a write off. So, a wedge of cash later and some reputable rally cross engine builders later, the CF1 was completely rebuilt, slightly lighter crank, all perfectly balanced, fully port and polished head with matched plenum chamber.

I do regret selling her. The amount of hours I put in to her!

Wow, sounds like you spent a lot of money on the car and engine in particular. When you balanced and ported the engine was it noticeable? What was the performance like more top end performance? It was a lovely example and in black too.

Its been a long time but if I remember correctly, the engine felt alot more balanced, smoother and yes, alot more power than before but the old engine was a little tired.

I've not heard about the dipstick snapping but maybe after I sold her. The seal on the dipstick tube leaked a bit though but I didn't get a chance to fix it as I sold her just after.

Just looked online and it's taxed, but no MOT. Doesn't look like it's been put in for a test as no record of a failure.
