As it happens, I ended up with the car that was posted up here last month from my old home town of Fleet...

A shame to see the end of the 146 1.8 Project Thread, for another 145 QV thread, but thats the way it goes

You can't save them all!


Have you been able to drive it back, Jeremy- or did you need to arrange transport for it?

I arranged transport (via www.shiply.com - worked very well).

I didn't dare trying to start the car after all this time - and besides, I couldn't open the bonnet...

Lots of work to do - hoping to get started later today.

The 146 has now been collected by its new owner. Like me, he's bought it to save it - but as he's a trader he may well end up breaking it.
